Check out this incredible new comedy pilot from the BBC called The i-Word.
Written by and starring Jake Sawyers and Emily Nicole Roberts, The i-Word is a scripted comedy short following the successes of two wannabe influencers, who have set out to become the online world's favourite inter-abled couple.
Sam, who is visually impaired, and wheelchair user Ella met at the SWATS (South Wales Accessibility Trailblazer awards), when Ella plucked up enough courage to introduce herself to Sam, who had not only amassed a million followers on his social accounts that year, but also took home the top prize at the awards.
Sam's fanbase has been hounding him to find a girlfriend and he realises Ella might be the perfect match for a partnership that could work out particularly well for the both of them.
Keep an ear out on PSS iTalk as well, as these two may be featuring in the very near future!

The final numbers are in!
We're so very happy to let you all know that the total number raised from our Charity Ball in November came to a total of £4343! What an incredible amount we all achieved together and what a wonderful night it was.
All of that money will be used to help fund over 300 free sight tests, 80 low-vision assessments and help us keep all of our social and support groups running for the year ahead. So from all of us here at Partially Sighted Society, may we all just say a huge, huge thank you to everyone who attended. It meant the world to us.
This year, one of our main focuses of our organisation will be on bringing more awareness to visual impairments. We’ve seen over the course of the past few years what incredible impact people can make when they come together for a common goal.
This year, we’ve decided to launch our own initiative, the 2 Million Steps for 2 Million People.
There are over 2 million people living with sight loss in the UK alone, our plan is to get out and about to walk a combined 2 million steps, getting active whilst also raising awareness and vital funds for our organisation.
If you’d like to get involved, all you have to do is click the link below and press “Start Fundraising” on the JustGiving page. Monitor and post your progress and we’ll update you all throughout the year on how close we are to achieving this mammoth target of walking the 2 million steps!
To put 2 million steps into a bit of context, it’s 4120 lengths of London Bridge, or around a quarter of the length of the entire River Amazon!
We hope to get a lot of you involved and the more people we can get working with us on this the better, so make sure to share this post and tag your friends.
In case you didn't know, today is World Braille Day! January 4th is the birthday of Louis Braille, inventor of the writing system used by over 30,000 people in UK alone.
Robyn, one of our trustees just told us "A random fact is quite a few shortbread boxes have Braille on too, I find identifying the best biscuit ever high on the priorities of life! Walkers, Co-op and Morrisons" are just a few examples of the Braille'd buttery goodness.
World Braille Day is a reminder of the importance of accessibility and independence for people who are blind or visually impaired, so even if you don't currently read Braille, it's important to shout about it from the rooftops to get more people thinking about visual impairments in general.
If you're interested in learning Braille, Robyn told us about this fantastic YouTube channel which is a perfect place to start.
