Glaucoma is a serious eye disease that affects the optic nerve, often starting with a loss of peripheral vision. If left undetected or untreated, it can progress and impact central vision, leading to significant sight loss and even complete blindness.
The good news? Early detection and proper treatment can make all the difference. Regular eye tests are crucial in catching glaucoma early, getting people onto the correct medication or treatments and from there protecting vision.
