Many people living with sight loss can still see shapes, colours, movement or small areas of detail. Someone might recognise a face but struggle to read a sign. Another person may read clearly at close range but find it difficult to move around safely outdoors.
There is no single way to be partially sighted, and no single type of support that works for everyone.
That is why understanding, patience and accessible design matter so much, whether you are a family member, an employer or simply someone offering help in the street.
Because sight loss affects everyone differently, misunderstandings are common. What is one thing you wish more people understood about visual impairment?
