Dame Rosie Winterton
It was our pleasure to welcome Dame Rosie Winterton to our charity this morning to talk to our coffee (and tea) connoisseurs.
Dame Rosie gave us an amazing talk on her fascinating career in politics, as well as discussing some of the burning issues within the partially sighted and blind community such as the planned ticket office closures.
We must thank her especially for wearing our charity colours (yellow is generally the most visible colour for those living with sight loss) which we noticed and really appreciated.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to Dame Rosie for taking time out of her busy schedule to visit us and we hope that she comes back to visit us again very soon!
