It’s not every coffee morning that you find deer antlers and shed snake skin alongside the tea and biscuits!
A big thank you to David and Janet from Natural England for joining us and bringing a little of the Humberhead Peatlands into the Sight Centre.
There was plenty of curiosity around the table as our friends explored their collection by touch, discovering the shapes and textures of local wildlife. A lovely way to bring nature closer, with plenty to talk about over a cuppa.
We’ve been working alongside David and Janet to help make the nearby peatlands a more accessible and welcoming place for people with sight loss. It’s a partnership we really value, helping more people feel confident getting out and enjoying the nature on our doorstep.
